We have discovered a list of bucket list must-do challenges for the thrill seekers among you:

Sky Diving

A tandem parachute jump from a helicopter over the Val de Bagnes, must be added to your bucket list! Alpskydive is the ideal place to discover the Alps viewed from the sky. Professional supervision. An extraordinary experience accessible to all. A 15 minute helicopter flight Parachute jump from 4000 m. Maximum speed: 200km/h. Duration of the jump: 40 seconds. Alpskydive guarantees you an adrenaline fix in a magnificent setting. (Must be over 15yrs old and less than 95kg). There is the option to add on an extended helicopter flight from CHF500.

Bungee Jumping

An hour away from Verbier is the Bungy Niouc Park in Niouc, Valais. The Bungy park offer a wide range of adventurous activities that are designed to guarantee an adrenaline rush for the thrill seeker in you. The 190 meter Bungee-Jump, the Giant-Swing, the Rope Jump or the Zipline are all once in a lifetime experiences. We’ve selected the 190m Bungee jumping as the most thrill seeking!

White Water Rafting

A 20 minute drive down the valley you can enjoy rafting on the river Dranse from Vollèges to Sembrancher, the flowing water of the Dranse provides one of the most scenery white water trips in the Alps. Its colour and landscapes will impress even the most hardened rafters. A 45 minute trip on the river with Rapids! All equipment is provided, minimum age is 8 years.

Mont Fort Zip Line

The Mont 4 Zipline covers a distance of 1,400m and a difference in altitude of 383m at speeds of up to 130km/h. The  Zipline starts at 3,330m above sea level, making it the highest in the world and the longest in the Alps. The descent takes you from Mont Fort over the Tortin Glacier to Les Gentianes. Breathtaking views included!

The descent is 1,4 kilometres long and can reach speeds of more than 100km/h. The meeting point is at restaurant Les Gentianes (zipline arrival platform) at the appointed time. It is important to be in Siviez or Verbier with the confirmation or key card one hour beforehand. The journey to the starting point then takes place by chairlift/gondolas and two cable cars. This activity is only open to persons aged over seven years (minimum weight 30kg, maximum weight 130kg).

Tandem Parapenting

Without a doubt, one of the most popular activities on offer in Verbier. Enjoy the thrilling sensation of soaring like a bird with a tandem paragliding flight over Verbier.  This will be an unforgettable experience under the guidance of the twins, Mike and Stu who are true professionals and have worked in every aspect of the paragliding industry including working as stunt pilots as well as testing paragliders.
