Whether you are a total novice, a nervous intermediate or an expert powder hound, we want every Ski Verbier Exclusive guest to have fun on the mountain. A guide or instructor can make a huge difference to your ski holiday.
Choosing the right instructor or ski school is paramount. We go to great lengths to ensure that we find the perfect instructor or guide to suit your needs.
For years we have worked closely with Performance Verbier. Their small team of enthusiastic and highly-qualified instructors will be familiar to many of our regular guests. They are superb teachers, great fun, and know Verbier inside out. Even if you’re not looking to improve your technique, having a guide for the day will take away the stresses of route-planning. They can also show you some of the quieter corners of Verbier and give you a really great day out.
While hiring a private instructor is more expensive, the huge progress you will make, definitely makes the extra cost worthwhile. What’s more, an instructor can take up to 6 people (of a similar level) for no extra cost.
It’s really important that children enjoy their first ski holiday experience. We therefore match your children with an instructor to suit them. Male or female, young or more mature – just let your concierge know. Most of the instructors speak English, but if you need the instruction to be in a different language, just say the word.
Ski school provides a cheaper and sometimes more fun alternative to private tuition. The excellent New Generation runs a large number of classes, catering for all abilities and ages from 4 to 17. From Whippersnappers to Wallabies and from Bombers to Rockets, New Gen have a handy guide with videos to help find out your child’s skiing level. They also run regular group lessons for adults.
Verbier has an almost limitless backcountry terrain – the best lift-accessible off-piste skiing in Europe, according to the Daily Telegraph). For more advanced skiers looking to explore, we can arrange off-piste guiding with our expert freeride partners Powder Extreme.
Snowboarding is becoming increasingly popular in Verbier. With our new partners at Independent. we can offer lessons that will help you improve whatever your level or age. They teach individuals or groups, young children, freestyle, freeride and splitboarding.
We want all our guests to enjoy the thrill of the mountain slopes. And we don’t think disability or age should be a barrier. In conjunction with our partners New Gen, we can arrange for you to ski with bespoke tuition, guiding and equipment for every level of skier or boarder.
