Katie Weeks

Sales Director

Katie joined us in our UK office in the Summer of 2023. After 7 years of working in high-end luxury ski travel, she brings strong knowledge of what makes a truly spectacular mountain ski holiday. Having skied from a very young age, Katie has always had a passion for the mountains. Straight after university she travelled around Australia for 2 years but missed the snow too much! She returned to Europe and completed 2 ski seasons as a Chalet Manager in other luxury ski resorts.

Katie loves all things outdoors and in particular has a soft spot for long distance running.  Having completed a full Ironman in Lanzarote, she is forever looking for her next challenge! In the meantime, she’s kept busy with her side-kick, ‘Bee’, a lovely Jack Russell and her love for horses.

Favourite Chalet?
Chalet Rock – it feels very much like your home away from home. Located in a tucked away corner plot it’s very much your own special place and does exactly what it says on the tin!

Favourite place to ski?
It has to be the top of Mont Fort – there is nothing better than feeling like you are on top of the world.

Favourite mountain restaurant?
La Marlenaz – a simple menu where they offer creative dishes using delicious local produce. It is tucked away and sits amongst the alpine wilderness – it is a hidden gem (so keep it to yourself)

Favourite restaurant in town?
Au Vieux – all you could possibly want from an alpine restaurant; you have to try their speciality “La Potence” amongst the most cosiest of surroundings. I never want to leave.

Favourite après ski spot?
It has to be La Farinet!

Favourite non skiing activity?
Parapenting or micro-lighting! It is the closest you will ever get to feeling like you can fly – it is the adrenaline pumping way of being able to see the mountains from a birds eye view.

Summer or Winter?
Winter – nothing beats curling up in-front of an open fire with a cup of tea.

Top Tip
Ensure you are physically ready for your week’s skiing! Sadly many people cannot ski after a couple of days as they were not prepared or fit enough. Doing a quick run daily and stretching regularly leading up to your holiday will make ALL the difference alongside making the most of the massage services in resort.
