With Verbier once again tucked in under a blanket of snow and the town in full preparation for this coming winter again, December is upon us and our pre-arrival concierge managers are in full flow, putting together the final pieces for our first guests to arrive before Christmas. In the Northern hemisphere it may feel like we only just said goodbye to summer but (just like Father Christmas) we have been busy putting plans in place since mid-summer.

What you want from your time in Verbier with us is personal and should be fun and exciting, so your concierge manager will offer a call to kick off making a start on the arrangements. They will make sure your arrival is seamless – our transfer drivers know all of our chalets well and your chalet team will be ready to meet you with all your plans in place and lift passes ready for your first day. You can even have your rental equipment fitted from the comfort of your chalet upon arrival so you can just put your feet up and relax, having already spoken to your Chef before travelling (if in one of our catered properties).

You have chosen to spend your precious time in one of our chalets or apartments to enjoy everything that the mountains can offer, and our aim is to make your vision of that time just what you want it to be and more. For some of our guests that is a full detox, doing nothing and totally switching off; while others crave an adrenaline fuelled intensity to their stay. Wherever your idea of the perfect mountain holiday fits onto that spectrum our pre-arrival team have all the local knowledge to advise and make all your arrangements with our partners in Verbier who we know will provide you with the best luxury service.

On the mountain, maybe you’d like an instructor to help you try skiing or snowboarding for the first time, or cover every kilometre of the piste map in a week – or perhaps a private guide to show you the off piste areas that Verbier is famous for and keep you away from the pistes.

We know not everybody can (or wants to) ski or snowboard as well, so we can suggest plenty of non-skiing activities for all ages and mobility levels – in-chalet massages and spa days, parapenting, yoga and personal training, ice climbing, cross country skiing, kids clubs and nannies for little ones, parapenting, snow shoeing, the highest fondue in Europe at the top of Mont Fort… or maybe you have a special event or celebration in mind?

For many, dining out and exploring Verbier’s restaurants, après ski, bars and nightclubs is just as important and we can make recommendations and reservations for these too. Verbier has more to offer each year and something for everyone both on the mountain and in town – from local delicacies, fondues and raclette, to a wide array of international cuisine, world renowned Chefs and Michelin star restaurants.

Our pre-arrival concierge managers all know Verbier like the back of their hand and work closely with our in-chalet team and partners, speaking daily to make sure that we have the most up to date knowledge of things to do, events in Verbier and how we can make sure you have the best experience in our home. We will take care of all the details so you don’t have to. When everything is in place, we will introduce you to your chalet manager or in-resort guest relations manager and all your arrangements will be sent to you in one itinerary document.

We look forward to speaking soon and helping put together your best holiday yet!
