The best quality ingredients, locally sourced, carefully prepared, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented are the cornerstones of the dining experience provided in a Ski Verbier Exclusive chalet.
Our chefs are all professionally trained and very experienced, coming from around the globe to work for us in Verbier. They bring with them a huge variety of talent and technique, many have even worked in Michelin-starred restaurants such as Le Gavroche, Chez Bruce, The Square, L’Enclume, Chewton Glen and Launceston Place to name but a few. Their greatest strengths however are their shared passion for food and service.
We offer a bespoke dining experience and welcome our guests to choose the type and style of food that they would like to eat. Why not allow our chefs to create gastronomic magic with their fine dining menu, or perhaps be tempted by an elaborate sharing feast cooked up on the firepits? For something a little more off-piste, perhaps an Asian influenced tasting menu? Alternatively, keep it simple with ‘bistro’ style classics such as the perfect steak and chips?
Whilst planning your Ski Verbier Exclusive stay with our in-house concierge team, we will work with you to ensure your chef has a proper grasp on your likes or dislikes, what your preferences are, the intricacies of any varying dietary requirements perhaps or simply just the cuisines you enjoy. Ahead of the holiday, we will arrange a pre-arrival phone call with your chef to thoroughly discuss and even plan your menus ideas in more detail.
There is no doubt about it, on a ski holiday breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Whether you’re racing to catch the first lift on a bluebird powder day, preparing the little ones for their first day of ski school or enjoying a leisurely 10am breakfast to reflect on the previous evenings après ski, our hosts will beautifully lay the breakfast table, prepare the latest weather report and be ready to welcome you with your fresh morning coffee. Meanwhile, our chefs will prepare a luxurious spread of locally sourced products from the Valais region, lovingly present fresh fruit platters, smoothies, pancakes and of course have on offer a range of indulgent cooked breakfasts, which will set you up perfectly for a day on the slopes.
After enjoying a day up the mountain, what could be more welcoming than enjoying freshly prepared afternoon tea, next to the roaring open log fire in the comfort of your luxury chalet? Comforting cups of tea, or perhaps even a glass of Champagne for a more celebratory feel – your choice. It’s also a perfect time to enjoy the bubbling hot tub found at many of our chalets and finally slip in total relaxation and reflect about the excitements of the day, whilst chef prepares your canapés and your host mixes the perfect Cotswold Gin cocktail, before your delicious evening meal.
As a new addition for this winter, we’re proud to introduce the award-winning Cotswold Gold Original Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil into our chalets. Cotswold Gold is already used in the kitchens of no fewer than 19 Michelin-star restaurants including Le Manoir aux Quat’saisons and Fera at Claridges.
On our minds more recently is the importance and increasing awareness of your health and wellbeing. For those looking for a slightly lower calorie count at the end of your holiday, rest assured, we can easily make sure that you have an indulgent, yet healthy skiing holiday!
