DRIVER

Ski Verbier Exclusive Drivers are the face of our company and they have a varied and challenging role providing a private 24hr in-resort driving service for our guests.  The guests’ safety is paramount and you must be able to demonstrate that this can be done alongside excellent customer service.  The aim is to ensure guests leave having received a first class service and a memorable holiday experience which surpasses their expectations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Providing a private 5* in-resort driving service to all guests
  • Maintain company vehicles inside and out on a daily and weekly basis
  • Carry out weekly safety checks on all vehicles
  • Minor chalet maintenance, when required
  • Assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of chalet facilities (hot tubs/pools etc.)
  • Snow clearing of all pathways and driveways surrounding the chalets (including balconies and terraces)
  • Assisting with transporting staff and chalet deliveries around the resort
  • Assist with any chalet staff duties, when required
  • Coordination with the chalet staff to provide appropriate shuttle service in and around the resort

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

  • A hardworking team player with great attention to detail
  • Able to think on their feet and use own initiative

Skills and abilities required

The potential candidate will have the following:

  • Minimum of 4 years driving experience
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Basic knowledge of French
  • Previous experience driving larger vehicles (SUV’s, minibus, vans etc.) – preferred
  • Previous off road or alpine driving experience (desirable)
  • Demonstrate basic maintenance and DIY skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Positive and flexible attitude
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management/organisational skills
  • Previous seasonal experience (desirable)

  • EHIC
  • UK address, UK bank account and UK National Insurance number
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • A double COVID-19 vaccination

All our staff must be available to work from December 2022 to April 2023.
