CHALET HOST

A Ski Verbier Exclusive Chalet Host  has a varied and challenging role.    Assisting the Chef in delivering a 5* service, the role is predominantly customer service focused.    The main aim  is to ensure that guests leave having received a first class and memorable holiday experience exceeding their expectations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Providing our 5*hospitality service at all times
  • Service of breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés/snacks, 3 course evening meal up to 5 days a week
  • Chalet housekeeping ensuring presentation is immaculate and the highest of standards have been achieved throughout the chalet at all times
  • General chalet maintenance and reporting an issues to your Chalet Manager
  • Communication between the guests and chef making sure all special dietary requests have been understood
  • Coordination with the driving team to provide appropriate shuttle service in and around the resort
  • Interacting with guests and being flexible for last minute changes

Candidate ProFile

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Highly professional

  • Punctual, personable and sociable
  • Positive, flexible and energetic
  • A hardworking team player with great attention to detail
  • Able to think on their feet and use own initiative

Skills and abilities required

 The potential candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 3 years 5* hospitality experience (essential)
  • Previous bar experience and knowledge of wines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High standard of housekeeping
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team

  • UK address, UK bank account and UK National Insurance number
  • A double COVID-19 vaccination

All our staff must be available to work from December 2022 to April 2023.
