Rachel Stillman

Resort Manager

From sailing the seas on sail and motor yachts to working in corporate food buying, Rachel is a key member of our year-round team and has always been interested in all things foodie, luxury and service.

Having worked winter seasons in Austria, France and Switzerland- Verbier is the only one she has returned to due to the sensational off-piste, amazing live music and fantastic hiking trails. Rachel can’t wait to train our newest recruits and ensure all guests get the very best service this winter.

Favourite Chalet?
Milou- bright, spacious and airy, this stunning chalet is so close to the slopes and has two spacious living areas- perfect for families. Its close proximity to the slopes means you can simply walk 3 minutes to the slope and ski straight down to Medran.

Favourite place to ski in the 4 Valleys?
Snowboarding between the trees under Taillay lift in Savoleyres is a floaty dream after heavy snowfall.

Favourite mountain restaurant?
My idea of heaven is 2 starters and a dessert so Carrefour with its mille feuille with fresh mushrooms pan-fried foie gras, garlic snails and fruit tart du jour whilst sat in the sun with an Orangina.

Favourite restaurant in town?
Le Caveau is the ultimate Swiss Fondue experience- think cosy and extremely cheesy! They are famous for the best fondue in town and also do delicious raclette.

Favourite après ski hangout?
Farinet Longue does sensational chili lychee margaritas and has a relaxed, upmarket vibe. Head next door to Farinet if you want to let your hair down to live music.

Favourite non skiing activity?
Myself and my trusty walking poles are often to be found on one of Verbier’s many snowshoe trails. A particular favourite is the Chute du Bisse with its charming wooden sculptures along the Sentier des Sculptures or for something to really rack up the step-count, try Lac de Mauvoisin.

Favourite Season and Why?
Always winter! Even after several seasons visiting some truly beautiful summery locations, nothing beats the pristine crunch of fresh snow and fresh mountain air.

My Top Tip?
Try the newly adult-friendly ice rink in town, with a the 3-metre-tall ice slide which you can launch yourselves down on a large inflated ring
