Our Resort Manager, Jenny, gives an insight into the busy pre season preparations

With the early snowfall, imminent arrival of our resort team and our first guests arriving in less than a month, it really is full steam ahead over at Ski Verbier Exclusive resort HQ! We are delighted to be seeing so many familiar faces returning to the SVE family this season and we are hugely excited to be welcoming some new faces as well. Some of our core team love Verbier so much, they have decided to make it their permanent home, but the rest of the 50+ team land in resort soon, ready to start our intensive pre-season preparations.


 

We are extremely fortunate to have some of the best industry experts on board to share their experience and knowledge with our hugely talented and experienced team to ensure our guests receive the very best when they stay with us.  Our experts cover everything from menu design to wine pairing to making the perfect Espresso Martini…and so much more. For example Oli Morris, Head Mixologist at the Cotswold Distillery travels all the way from the Cotswolds to work with the team to create our signature SVE cocktails, whilst Belinda Hunt from The London Academy will be fine tuning the team’s service levels in the SVE way; the ultimate in hospitality and attention to detail, but with that personal touch.  Our team of drivers, many of whom have worked for us for several seasons, will be out in all weathers clearing the chalet terraces of snow and getting the chalet hot tubs and swimming pools up to temperature.  Meanwhile, our brilliant team of professional chefs are led by our Executive Head Chef Scott Martin, who will share his wealth of knowledge and Michelin-star restaurant experience through collaborative practical sessions.

 


 

We are proud to run a slick operation in Verbier and are even prouder of our wonderful hard-working team, all striving to deliver the very best holidays.
